Work in Progress
Well this is a work in progress for sure. I know that it will be my thoughts soon enough. Right now I am just playing with it to see how this blog works.
Duane went to Seattle with Eryn and picked up Shyla and Trinity on the way. They were in Mullan Idaho with Trinity's grandpa on Michael's side. Duane said the girls talked the whole trip. He had a pretty safe trip and it was pretty uneventful. He did say he got lost in Seattle, that's not unusual for any of us going down there. Leah is about the only one that knows Seattle like the back of her hand.
We (Duane and I) were checking into a accident and dismemberment policy on his insurance because of the loss of his eye. I received a letter yesterday that said we didn't qualify because it was a disease. Seems pretty stupid to me. I figure that a loss is a loss. I am going to appeal it to see if they will reconsider.
I turned the heat on in the house today... Yippee! Warmth! It took me some time to pay the back payments on it to bring it to a zero balance. Now I have it on budget billing so it doesn't matter if it's on or off. But, on is the best!
Matthew and Leila did a dump run today and got rid of a bunch of stuff they said. I told James that I would find out about the cost of taking the couches into the alley and have them taken with the garbage. I think it would be less expensive to do it that way then the cost of gas to haul it to the dump ourselves.
Duane is helping Leah at the hospital now that Joshua is on the floor. I read on Leah's blog that he has an infection and they will be treating it. Gosh it seems like we get that little guy doing good for a bit and then back at square one again. I pray everyday that God will heal him so we can get him home. I miss my daughter and grandson tons.
Trevor went to a birthday party today at the bowling alley. I think that it's a friend from school. I have a video of him bowling when he was smaller that I will add to this blog so you can see how exciting it is for him.
